Heritage Newspapers Heritage Newspapers, Inc. is an award winning publishing group that consists of eight (8) suburban weekly and two (2) twice-weekly publications in southeastern Michigan with a circulation of over 316,850. Some publications date as far back as the 1800's (The Manchester Enterprise 1867, The Dexter Leader 1869, The Chelsea Standard 1872, The News-Herald 1879, and The Milan News-Leader 1881). The most recent acquisition is Ypsilanti Courier. The Courier, a 7,000 circulation weekly, serves Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti, Augusta, Superior and Pittsfield townships. It began publishing in November 1994, and is owned by a small group of local investors who got involved in the effort to open a newspaper in the wake of the closing of the Ypsilanti Press, a daily, in June of that same year. Heritage Newspapers covers southeastern Michigan from Dearborn to Ohio and from Grosse Ile to Chelsea with the highest market penetration of any newspaper, in this area.

The Macomb Daily - 586-469-4510 The Macomb Daily is based in Macomb County, Michigan, a thriving region of suburban and rural communities located immediately north of Detroit. In the century-plus history of The Macomb Daily, perhaps the most dramatic and significant event has been its acquisition by the Journal Register Company in August 2004. The Macomb Daily is a full seven-day morning publication with an emphasis on comprehensive news, sports and advertising content as well as superior customer service. The heart and soul of all successful newspapers is their news and sports content. Here, too, The Macomb Daily excels. Our talented staff has repeatedly won local, state and national writing and photography awards. We are doing everything we can to live up to our motto: "Your county. Your world. Your paper. Every day."

Tri-County Times - 810-433-6780 That's the banner headline which appeared in the first edition of the Tri-County Times on April 3, 1994. It was the first time in nearly 40 years that tri-county residents witnessed the birth of a new newspaper, following the demise of the former Tri-County News. The new publication was based on a 32-year tradition of strong newspaper experience. Publisher Rick Rockman, Sr. promised that the paper would provide complete, in-depth coverage of all area news and events - and we believe he has not only lived up to that promise, but exceeded the community's expectations by the many additions and improvements not only to the Sunday newspaper, but with the addition of the Times Online edition two years ago, the addition of the midweek publication in September 1999, and most recently being named Michigan Press Association's "Newspaper of the Year 2002."
